ACCELERATED ORTHODONTICS

Patients who desire to have immediate result without much pain then accelerated orthodontics would be the best solution for them. By combining two procedures together (periodontics and orthodontic) the dentists will help you to get back the beautiful smile once again. This procedure requires 6 months to align the teeth in place. But, the patient needs to wear braces in the course time.

ORTHOGNATHIC SURGERY

Orthognathic Surgery refers to “straightening of the jaw(s) using surgery” [ortho – straight, gnathic – jaw(s)]. Whereas orthodontic treatment corrects the position of the teeth, Orthognathic surgery positions the bones of the jaws (maxilla/mandible). One or both jaws may be surgically repositioned during the one operation. This involves making cuts (osteotomies) in the bones and moving the cut segments into their predetermined position under a general anesthesia. The surgery is normally preceded by a period of orthodontic treatment so that post-operatively both the teeth and the bones will be in their correct position. Finally, a short period of orthodontic treatment is then usually required to complete the alignment of the teeth.

DENTISTRY FOR CHILDREN

Young children have high chances of getting infected root canal which thereby leads to the degraded primary teeth as well as immature permanent teeth. This is often the result of trauma or dental caries (tooth decay) and creates a unique problem for the child. The timely treatment of the primary teeth of a child is necessary for the successful and timely eruption and functioning of the permanent teeth. So, parents of young kids need to understand the importance of keeping their kid’s primary teeth in a healthy condition and avoid any procrastination in getting the dental problems treated

DENTAL CROWNS & BRIDGES

Missing teeth can allow the surrounding teeth to become displaced. Cracked or damaged teeth should be fixed to save as much of the tooth as possible. Crowns fix and protect teeth that are so damaged or diseased that they need more support than a simple filling. Bridges replace missing teeth and offer support for the surrounding teeth to help retain the integrity of the jaw and face structure.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

With the rise of need to replace missing tooth, increase in awareness of not having a tooth replaced, ill-fitting dentures, maintaining a denture whether full or partial, intentional RCT’s followed by bridges, patients prefer to opt for a fixed replacement. Implants are meant to cater to those seeking immediate replacements without taking support from adjacent tooth. Our implantologist is most promising and well experienced with all systems of implants including zygoma implants, all on four implants

FULL MOUTH SCALING & POLISHING

Dental cleanings involve removing plaque (soft, sticky, bacteria film) and tartar (calculus) deposits that have built up on the teeth over time. Your teeth are continually bathed in saliva which contains calcium, phosphorus, fluorides and other substances which help strengthen and protect the teeth. While this is a good thing, it also means that we tend to get a build-up of calcium deposits on the teeth. Usually, it is tooth coloured and can easily be mistaken as part of the teeth, but it also can vary from brown to black in colour

T M J

TMJ disorders develop for many reasons. You might clench or grind your teeth, which tightens your jaw muscles and stresses your joint. You may have a damaged jaw joint due to injury or disease. Injuries and arthritis can damage the joint directly, or stretch or tear the muscle ligaments. As a result, the disk, which is made of cartilage and functions as the “cushion” of the jaw joint, can slip out of position.
